'FASD Makes Me, Me' wins 2021 Waterloo Foundation Embracing Complexity Award

FASD Hub Scotland's FASD Makes Me, Me video has been voted as the winner of our Waterloo Foundation Embracing Complexity Award for 2021.

Each year, as part of our partnership with The Waterloo Foundation, our members vote for a project that embodies the vision and values of Embracing Complexity to receive this award. Technical difficulties unfortunately delayed voting this year, but we are delighted that we can now give the 2021 award to member organisation FASD Hub Scotland for FASD Makes Me, Me.

The animation, voiced by then-13-year-old Conar who has foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD), follows a day in the life of a young person with FASD and highlights how thinking differently enables him to shine. You can watch the video below.
